News Topical, Digital Desk : The stock market may see some activity related to corporate action in select stocks on Thursday, February 26th. The reason is the board meetings of four companies, where important decisions such as dividends, quarterly and annual results, and stock splits will be considered. These corporate announcements may increase investor interest in the respective stocks. Dividend-paying companies have been consistently paying dividends, while the company considering the split is considering such a proposal for the first time. The company's board will consider an interim dividend at its next meeting. The company has already announced that the record date, if approved, will be March 6. Previously, the company had declared an interim dividend of ₹1 per share with an ex-date of December 4, 2025.
This stock, listed on the BSE 500, closed at ₹220 on the BSE on Wednesday, up 1.6%. Expectations of a dividend could lead to short-term movement in the stock.

Vesuvius India 's board meeting is also scheduled for Thursday, where the final dividend and audited results will be considered. In the last financial year, the company paid a dividend of ₹14.5 with a record date of April.
This stock, listed on the BSE 1000, closed at ₹521 on Wednesday, up nearly 3%. Further action is possible if strong results or a better dividend are announced.

John Cockerill India will also announce its final dividend on Thursday, along with its quarterly and audited results. Last year, the company paid a final dividend of ₹7. This stock, included in the BSE Industrials Index, closed at ₹5,120 on Wednesday, up over 4%. Volatility is expected due to both the results and the dividend.

Which company will announce the split? Pashupati Cotspin Company is considering a stock split. If approved, this would be the company's first such announcement. The company has also never announced a bonus. Last September, the company paid a dividend of ₹0.5. On Wednesday, the stock closed at ₹993, up over 2%. The possibility of a stock split could increase retail investor participation and volumes could rise in the short term.
