Now the police has arrested the accused who made the threat in this case from Kolkata, West Bengal. The police has also recovered the mobile from which the accused had sent the threatening email. The accused runs a paan shop.

The name of the accused who sent the threatening mail to the Chief Minister's Office is Mohammad Zahid and his age is stated to be 51 years. According to the information, the accused is originally from Begusarai district of Bihar. The accused currently lives in Kolkata, West Bengal and runs a paan shop there. 

The threat came in the name of Al Qaeda

The threat to bomb the CM office in Patna came in the name of the terrorist organization Al Qaeda. A mail was received at the CMO office in the name of Al Qaeda. After this, the ATS investigated the matter and lodged an FIR at the Secretariat police station in Patna. The security system was alerted after starting the investigation of the case and top officials kept an eye on it. 

The airport also received a bomb threat

Before Nitish Kumar's office received a bomb threat, Patna airport had also received a bomb threat. After which its security was beefed up. This threat was also sent via e-mail. However, no such incident had taken place at that time and the police-administration had become very alert.
