Hero MotoCorp has launched the Hero Destini 125 in the Indian market. Many changes have been made in the scooter, ranging from design to features.

Major changes in the design

The company has made the biggest change in the design of Hero Desitini 125. The scooter looks quite new when you look at it. This scooter has LED projector lights. LED DRLs are also provided along with it. Copper chrome is also used in the scooter. LED lights are also provided in the rear. For safety, the front fender and side body panels are made of metal, with which dual tone color scheme is used.

What a powerful engine

The scooter has a 124.6cc single cylinder air cooled engine. This gives it a power of 9 BHP and a torque of 10.4 Newton meter. For better mileage, it has been given fuel injection technology. Along with this, CVT technology and dry centrifugal clutch have been given. According to the company, it can be driven up to 59 kilometers in one liter of petrol.

How are the features

Many great features have been given in the scooter. It has features like LED DRL, LED projector headlights, copper chrome inserts, 12 inch alloy wheels, digital speedometer, turn by turn navigation, distance to empty, Bluetooth connectivity, auto cancel winkers, illuminated start switch, seat backrest, long seat, i3s technology, USB charging port, two liter cubby on front apron and 19 liter boot space with a hook for three kilogram weight on the front apron. For safety, it has been given 190 mm front disc brake, side stand engine cutoff.

Variants and Colours

The scooter has been launched in a total of three variants. VX is offered as the base variant, ZX as the mid variant and ZX+ as the top variant. There are five colour options available. These are Eternal White, Regal Black, Mystique Magenta, Cosmic Blue and Groovy Red.

The length of Hero Destini 125 is 1862 mm, width 697 and 703 mm, height 1125 mm. Its wheelbase is 1302 mm and seat height is 770 mm. The scooter has a ground clearance of 162 mm. A 5.3 liter fuel tank has been provided for petrol and its curb weight is 115 kg.
