News Topical, Digital Desk : Rebel Samajwadi Party MLA from Chail, Uttar Pradesh, Pooja Pal, took aim at Atiq Ahmed's character in the film Dhurandhar, calling him a financier of the Samajwadi Party (SP) and calling Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath a "Dhurandhar Chief Minister," prompting sharp retort from AIMIM leader Israr Ahmed. He said that Pooja Pal became an MLA with Muslim votes and is insulting them.

AIMIM leader Israr Ahmed called Pooja Pal ungrateful and said that she is now calling the messiah of the very Muslims who voted for her to become an MLA a terrorist. Israr Ahmed said that Pooja Pal's statement is completely politically motivated. A film, Dhurandhar, was released, which alleged foreign connections to Atiq Ahmed.

The same Atiq Ahmed, in whose name a condolence meeting was held in the Lok Sabha. He was a Member of Parliament and a five-time MLA, who was murdered by criminals in police custody. Yet, there was never any mention of his foreign connections. Now, will these movie dancers and musicians decide who is foreign and who is Indian?

Pooja Pal was called ungrateful

Israr Ahmed said that Pooja Pal, who won the Samajwadi Party election on the strength of Muslim votes, became an MLA. Today, driven by her greed for power and to adjust to the current government, she has made this statement. If she truly possesses morality, she should resign from her post, which she won with the Samajwadi Party's Muslim votes, and contest the elections again, if she has the capacity, and then go to the Assembly to make this statement.

Despite becoming an MLA on the back of Muslim support, she continues to insult Muslim leaders and Muslims. She lacks even a shred of self-respect. She should first resign from the Samajwadi Party and then speak. She should be ashamed of her statements.

Pooja Pal accused the Samajwadi Party of protecting Atiq Ahmed, saying that if the Yogi government hadn't been in power, he too would have been murdered. She said that Atiq was eroding the country like termites. CM Yogi is a capable Chief Minister who ended the empires of mafias like Atiq and Mukhtar.
