Ahmedabad plane crash: Actress Payal Ghosh lost her childhood friend, wrote- 'I knew it'

Almost all the passengers on board the plane are reported to have died, including former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani. Payal's college friend was also in the accident

Many celebs from the Bollywood world mourned this tragic accident and wished the victim's family the strength to bear this. Many people lost their loved ones in this accident. One of them is Telugu and Hindi film actress Payal Ghosh. Payal's college friend Preeti Chatterjee was on board the plane. The actress expressed condolences on the death of her friend and informed about it on Instagram.

Payal prayed for the family

She wrote on her Instagram story, "RIP Preeti. My condolences to the Chatterjee family. #ahmedabadplanecrash." Talking about Preeti, Payal said, "I knew she was going to London, and as soon as I heard the news, I immediately spoke to her family. Unfortunately, their silence says it all. I am in shock. She has been my friend since my college days, and I can't believe she is no more."

My prayers are with all the injured

The actress added, "I pray for his soul to rest in peace and may his family get the strength and courage to bear this loss. Om Shanti. My prayers are not just for him but for all those who lost their lives in the accident and may God bless all their families."

Apart from this, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut and many other Bollywood celebs have given their reaction on the plane crash incident. Shahrukh Khan tweeted, "Heartbroken to hear the news of the accident in Ahmedabad... My prayers for the victims, their families and all affected."

After the plane crash, 'saddened' Alia Bhatt sent prayers and support through an Instagram post. She wrote - This is very sad. My heart is breaking. I pray for the passengers, crew and all their loved ones.
