Google has partnered with several companies to build data centers in India. Google previously partnered with Ambani. Now, Ambani's name has also been added to this list. Adani Enterprises disclosed this in an exchange filing.

Adani Enterprises, through its joint venture Adani Comex, has partnered with Google to develop India's largest AI data centre campus along with new green energy infrastructure in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, the company said in a press release.

Airtel and Adani will work together with Google

Google's AI hub in Visakhapatnam represents an investment of approximately $15 billion over five years (2026-2030). The project will include gigawatt-scale data center operations, a robust subsea cable network, and clean energy infrastructure to support the most advanced AI workloads in India. Adani Comex and Airtel will work closely with Google to make this project a reality, the press release said.

India will become the hub of AI Data Center

The Google AI Hub will add significant computing capacity to India, marking a major leap forward in the country's AI capabilities. Both companies are committed to sustainability and plan joint investments in new transmission lines, clean energy generation, and innovative energy storage systems in Andhra Pradesh. These initiatives will not only power the data center but also strengthen India's electricity grid.

What did Gautam Adani say on the agreement?

The development of this AI hub and connectivity gateway will create a powerful engine for economic growth in Visakhapatnam, the state of Andhra Pradesh and subsequently the entire country, generating thousands of jobs, Adani Group said in a press release.
