News Topical, Digital Desk : Adani Power, a major company of the Adani Group, on Saturday informed the exchanges that the company has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for an 800 MW thermal power project. In the information given to the exchange, Adani Power said that the company has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from MP Power Management Company Limited for an 800 MW ultra-supercritical thermal power project. This project will be set up in Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh.
This project will be developed on the Design, Build, Finance, Own and Operate (DBFOO) model and the fuel required for it will be supplied from the coal linkage prescribed under the SHAKTI policy. The company says that this order is to be completed within 54 months of receipt. After the completion of the project, Adani Power will supply electricity from this plant to MP Power Management Company Limited.
Share performance The company's stock closed at Rs 599.75 with a gain of 0.81 percent on Friday. In the last one year, the company's stock has seen a decline of 5.11 percent.
