Free LPG Cylinder on Diwali: Diwali festival is coming, in such a situation, the Yogi Adityanath government of UP has once again started fulfilling its old promise. Due to which all the women of the state will get benefit. Like last year, this year too women will be given free LPG cylinders on Diwali. Orders have been issued by the government in this regard. 

In UP, preparations have been made to give free gas cylinders to women on Diwali under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. This decision of the Yogi government will benefit 1.85 crore Ujjwala Yojana beneficiary women of the state. For this, women will first have to buy the cylinder, after five days of which the money for the cylinder will come to the beneficiary's account.

Last year too, CM Yogi had provided free cylinders to the beneficiary women of Ujjwala Yojana on Holi and Diwali. This time too, the government has made preparations to fulfill its promise. The Chief Minister has issued orders to the concerned department in this regard. After which women will be able to get free cylinders on Diwali. 

Last year, 85 lakh women of the state benefited from this announcement of the Yogi government. This time the number of beneficiaries has increased to 1.85 crores. Those who will benefit from this announcement. Apart from this, under the central government's Ujjwala scheme, beneficiaries are given a subsidy of Rs 300 on each cylinder. Which is transferred directly to their account. 

Let us tell you that during the UP assembly elections, BJP had announced to give two cylinders in a year on the festivals of Diwali and Holi. After winning the elections, they have been continuously fulfilling this promise. The state government gives one cylinder free on Diwali and one LPG cylinder free on Holi to the beneficiary women of Ujjwala.
