In Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a woman's anger burst out after a young man's dirty comments and an argument. The woman became so angry at the young man's actions that she set the young man's bike on fire. Seeing the woman's anger, no one even tried to extinguish the fire in the bike. The result was that the entire bike was burnt to ashes in no time. Only its chassis was left. The police, who arrived on the information of the people, took the bike's chassis to the police station. The chassis has been parked at the police station. The police have not received any complaint yet. The police say that action will be taken after receiving the complaint. The incident occurred in Keruganj of Kotwali police station area.
A woman had gone to a medical store in Keruganj area of Chowk Kotwali area to get medicine. Just then a young man from a particular community also reached the medical store on his bike to get medicine. During this time the young man made a dirty comment on the woman. When the woman protested, a dispute started between the two. The dispute increased so much that it led to a scuffle. When the woman started shouting, many people from the surrounding area gathered and started supporting the woman.
Seeing the situation going against him, the young man left his bike and ran away on foot. On this, the woman set the young man's bike on fire. Seeing the woman's furious form, no one had the courage to extinguish the fire. Due to this, the entire bike was burnt to ashes in no time.
On information from people, fire brigade vehicle and police reached the spot. By then only the chassis of the bike was left. Police brought the remaining chassis of the bike to the police station. Additional Superintendent of Police City Sanjay Kumar said that the matter is being investigated. Legal action will be taken on receipt of the complaint.
