how to lock aadhar card
- First of all, you have to go to the official website of UIDAI (uidai.gov.in) and click on the option of myaadhaar.
- Now click on Service and select the option 'Lock/Unlock Biometrics'.
- After this a new page will open on the screen. Here you have to enter the Aadhaar number () and captcha and select Send OTP.
- Now enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number, after which select the lock option from Lock/Unlock the biometric data.
After this your Aadhaar card will be locked. Similarly, to unlock the Aadhaar card, you will have to follow the same steps and select the unlock option.
