why is the temperature rising

Till two days ago, Delhi was getting humid winds from the east, due to which, despite the temperature being 40-42 degrees, it was feeling like 50 degrees of heat. But the wind direction changed and started blowing from west to east, and due to the heat wave coming from Rajasthan, the temperature also went up. Meteorologist Mahesh Palawat also considers this as the La-Nina effect. He says that the year when El Nino starts ending, the temperature of that year increases a little.

There is confusion about Mungeshpur's temperature being 52.9 degrees

The highest temperature ever recorded in Delhi was 52.9 degrees Celsius in the record book of the Meteorological Center of Mungeshpur of the Meteorological Department. However, later the Meteorological Department clarified that the temperature of 52.9 degrees Celsius was due to 'error in the sensor or local factor'. We will get the sensor and the data checked. The Meteorological Department said that it has 15 automatic weather stations in NCR. The maximum temperature of all was between 45.2 and 49.1 on Wednesday.

In such a situation, such a high temperature in Mungeshpur could be due to some sensor error or local factors. Earth Sciences Minister Kiren Rijiju also said that such a high temperature is very unusual for Delhi. Senior officials of IMD have been asked to verify it. Mahesh Palawat, spokesperson of private agency Skymet, also says that the thermometer of the Meteorological Center located in Mungeshpur can give wrong readings.
