Varanasi News: A preaching baba has raped a woman. This sensational incident took place in Varanasi. According to the victim, she met Chandrabhushan Singh alias Prabhuji, a resident of Varanasi, in 2019. The woman and her family keep meeting the baba regularly to listen to his sermons.  

The woman started living in Varanasi with her entire family to listen to the discourses. The woman made a serious allegation and said that she was raped after being given intoxicants. Varanasi police took action in this case and arrested Chandrabhushan Singh alias Prabhu Ji.

According to the information received, the woman met Chandrabhushan Singh in 
2019. The woman used to go to Chandrabhushan's ashram with her family for the purpose of listening to the discourse. Meanwhile, the woman alleges that in August 2022, Chandrabhushan Singh raped the woman after feeding her intoxicants. 

Not only this, the victim has also said that if she informs anyone about this, she and her entire family were threatened with death. After this, a complaint was lodged by the victim on 20 September 2024 at Shivpur police station under Varanasi Police Commissionerate, where a case has been registered against Chandrabhushan Singh under sections 328, 376, 506 of BNS. Chandrabhushan Singh was arrested by the police from Shivpur area. 

Baba did not get relief from the court 
as of now. Chandra Bhushan Singh has not got any relief from the Varanasi court as well. Varanasi Police Commissionerate DCP Varuna Zone Chandrakant Meena told ABP News on this matter that the accused has been arrested on the basis of the complaint received from the woman. The woman has accused him of rape and on the basis of the complaint received, a case has been registered and the matter is being investigated.
