Prayagraj News Today: The Uttar Pradesh government is preparing vigorously for the Maha Kumbh Mela starting from January 13 in Prayagraj. This time more than 40 crore devotees from the country and abroad will reach the Maha Kumbh to take a holy dip. The Yogi government has made special arrangements in view of the facilities of the devotees.
In this connection, Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation will also operate buses on different routes to facilitate the movement of devotees. During the Maha Kumbh, 390 buses will run from different places from Prayagraj. Gorakhpur Regional Manager of UP Transport Corporation, Luv Kumar Singh said that preparations for the operation of buses have been completed almost a month ago.
Gorakhpur regional manager Luv Kumar Singh said that 390 buses have been identified in Prayagraj, which will run to different places. He said that buses will run from 22 places during Maha Kumbh. Apart from this, which driver and conductor will do duty where, it has also been identified.
2300 buses will run in Maha Kumbh.
Regional manager Luv Kumar Singh said, "This time due to Maha Kumbh, a large number of devotees are expected to reach Gorakhpur, so the arrangements will be even better." He told that in order to improve the movement and convenience of the devotees, 1900 buses were demanded for other areas as well, which have been allotted to us at present. In this way, a total of 2300 buses will be operated from here.
Regional manager Luv Kumar Singh said that we have divided the Maha Kumbh into three phases. Under this, the first phase will be from January 12 to January 24. After this, the second phase will be from January 24 to February 7 and the third phase will be from February 7 to the next Shivaratri. He told that there is more crowd in the second phase of Maha Kumbh, so the maximum number of buses has been fixed in the second phase itself. Before this, buses will be operated as per the need.
These facilities will also be available at the bus station
. UP Roadways has announced to operate maximum number of new buses during Maha Kumbh. Regional Manager Luv Kumar Singh said that old buses of Roadways are also being prepared, they are also almost 90 percent complete. He said that all the buses that will go to Maha Kumbh have been painted in the same color.
Luv Kumar Singh said that arrangements for drinking water and toilets are being made at bus stations so that the devotees can have a good experience of Maha Kumbh. He said that the cold will increase in the coming days, for this proper arrangements for bonfires will be made at various places. Along with this, separate night shelters are also being constructed for men and women.
When will Maha Kumbh be held?
Let us tell you, Maha Kumbh is organized every 12 years. In the Maha Kumbh held in 2012, more than 12 crore devotees had come to take a holy dip. This time this number can cross 40 crores. This Bah Maha Kumbh will be organized from 13 January to 26 February. Yogi government has made special preparations for Maha Kumbh.
