UP News: The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has sought details of movable and immovable assets of all state employees and officers, the deadline for which expired on Monday. According to departmental data, 95 percent of the state employees have disclosed their assets on the Manav Sampada portal. Employees of the police, public works and agriculture departments were at the forefront among them. The salary of the employees who did not give details of their assets will be withheld for the month of September. 

According to the data, there are 827583 state employees in the state. Out of these, 95 percent i.e. 788506 employees have given details of their assets. This figure is till 12 o'clock on Sunday night. However, it may increase further till 12 o'clock on Monday night, after which the final figure may increase. The final figure will be matched on Tuesday. After which the salary of the employees who have not declared their assets will be withheld for the month of September. 

So many employees gave property details
The police department is at the top among the departments whose employees have given property details in the highest number. There are a total of 316633 employees in the police department, out of which 315337 employees have given information about their property which is 99.45 percent of the total. On the second place is the PWD department, in which 31821 out of 32211 employees have given the details, while at the last is the Urban Development Department, in which out of a total of 96 employees, 61 employees have given property details. 

In fact, to curb corruption, the Yogi government has made it mandatory for employees of all departments to give details of their assets like IAS and PCS officers. The last date for this was 12 midnight on 30 September. This period has now ended. The salary of employees who have not done it online till now in this period will be stopped.
