UP Dengue Update: Dengue is continuously spreading in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Cases of dengue, malaria and chikungunya are being seen every day. If we talk about dengue patients so far, the number of dengue patients has crossed 900. On Wednesday, 54 dengue patients were found, apart from this, a new patient of chikungunya was also found on Wednesday.

So far this year, a total of 907 cases of dengue have been found in Lucknow. Whereas 436 cases of malaria have been found in Lucknow and chikungunya has been confirmed in 67 people. However, there may be some more cases of chikungunya. Swaraj is continuously surveying mosquito-borne conditions regarding dengue and malaria. On Wednesday, a total of about 1450 were surveyed, where notices have also been issued to 8 house owners.

54 new cases were found in Lucknow on Wednesday. The maximum number of 8 cases each were found in Chandranagar and Aliganj. Seven people each were found to be suffering from dengue in Indira Nagar and Silver District Jubilee areas. Apart from this, three people each were found to be suffering from dengue in Tudiaganj, Sarojini Nagar, Red Cross, Aishbagh, MK Road, while two people each were found to be affected by it in BKT, Chinhat and Gosaiganj. 
 

Talking about the dengue patients admitted in large numbers
, 559 new cases have been reported in just 14 days. A large number of patients are admitted in government and private hospitals due to dengue and malaria, while the demand for platelets in blood banks has also increased rapidly. It is worth mentioning that the number of dengue cases in the national capital Delhi has increased to 2,115 this year.

In September, Delhi witnessed its first dengue death this year when a 54-year-old man succumbed to the virus at Lok Nayak Hospital on September 8. According to the report, a total of three dengue deaths have been reported in the capital so far this year. Last year, there were 19 dengue deaths in Delhi. In the seven-day period between September 29 and October 5, 485 more dengue cases were reported in Delhi.
