MP News: Indore's Khajrana police station has arrested two people including a woman in the case of smuggling of MD drugs. They have links with Rajasthan. MD drugs have also been recovered from both of them. Now the police is looking for further links. The accused woman is originally from Ujjain.
Police recovered MD drugs from the accused
Khajrana police station in-charge Manoj Sendhwa said that on the instructions of senior police officers, a campaign is being run against drug peddlers. In this connection, the police had received information that some suspicious people are standing with MD drugs on the service road behind Shahid Petrol Pump.
When the police reached the spot and checked both of them, 16 grams of MD drugs were recovered from them, the cost of which is said to be more than one and a half lakh rupees. After this, both were brought to the police station and questioned. The accused woman told her name as Ayesha alias Ashu, wife of Mohsin Khan (19 years), resident of Begum Bagh Colony, Ujjain. Apart from this, a young man has also been caught with her, whose name is Bada alias Sabdar Shah, resident of Patthar Mundla, presently residing in Khajrana Indore.
MD drugs were brought from Rajasthan
When the police interrogated the accused, their links with Rajasthan came to the fore. According to the police, the accused used to bring MD drugs from Rajasthan and supply them in Indore. Action has been taken against the accused under the NDPS Act at Khajrana police station. According to the police, more suspects are now being searched for.
