Bareilly News: Last night on 15 September (Sunday) people of two communities came face to face in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. After which there was chaos throughout the night. The police had to work hard throughout the night, after which the matter could be resolved in the morning. The procession of Baravafaat was being taken out in Jogi Nawada of Baradari police station area, when people of the Hindu community opposed the procession and did not allow the procession to take place.

In Jogi Nawada, a few days ago, people from the Muslim community did not allow the Kanwar procession to be taken out in the month of Sawan. After which, people from the Hindu community did not allow the Baravafaat procession to take place. People from the Hindu community gathered in large numbers and came in front of the procession. After which, there was heavy sloganeering from both sides. The police present on the spot tried to control the situation somehow, the police stood like a wall between the two communities throughout the night.

When the police asked the procession of Barawafaat to take another route, the people of the Muslim community did not agree and insisted on going on the same route which they opposed. There was heavy sloganeering from both sides and the police kept trying to convince the people of both the communities. The police showed great wisdom and continued the round of talks throughout the night and finally the police got success. At 6 in the morning both the parties went to their respective homes.

People of two communities came face to face in Maurya Gali

On this matter, SP City Rahul Bhati said that a dispute had arisen in Jogi Nawada of Baradari police station area in the past few years which was resolved and a procession was also being taken out with the consent of both the parties. Now people of both the communities came face to face in Maurya Gali and they were putting forth their views and in the morning both the parties moved away from the road on their own.
