News Topical, Digital Desk : Jharkhand Man Pushes Wife Of Running Train: A case of pushing a woman from a moving train has come to light in Jharkhand. Her husband has been accused. A 25-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh allegedly pushed his wife from a moving train in Jharkhand on Friday (04 July). A police officer gave this information.

The officer said that the woman, however, survived and is undergoing treatment at RIMS Ranchi. He said that the incident happened when the husband and wife boarded the Varanasi Express from Barkakana to Varanasi on Tuesday. When the train reached between Bhurkunda and Patratu railway stations under the East Central Railway division, the woman was allegedly pushed out of the moving train by her husband.

Woman fell into a pit filled with water after being hit by a train

He further said, "After being hit by the train, the woman fell into a pit filled with water and got injured. Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel rescued the woman and admitted her to a local government hospital." An official of the Government Railway Police (GRP) said that the doctors of the government hospital shifted the woman to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi.

The injured woman was sent to RIMS

Barkakana GRP in-charge officer Manohar Barla said that a railway lineman saw the injured woman in the ditch and informed the RPF in Patratu. He said that initially the woman was taken to Sadar Hospital in Ramgarh, where doctors referred her to RIMS.

The injured woman made serious allegations against her husband

Injured woman Khushboo Kumari, a resident of Deoria in Uttar Pradesh, told the police in her statement that she was going to Varanasi from Barkakana Junction with her husband and she was married a year ago. The woman alleged that her husband pushed her in front of the speeding train with the intention of killing her so that it may look like an accident. Khushboo said that she survived by the grace of God. A GRP official said that investigation is going on in this regard.
