Titan Taneira : Tata has already proved its mettle in the manufacturing of iron and automobiles. Tata's influence is no less in the fashion market as well. The effort is to ensure that the wedding ceremony does not add to its beauty without Tata. Therefore, Tata company has decided to focus on everything from sarees to lehengas. For this, there is a plan to strongly launch its slogan 'value stronger than steel' with Titan's ethnic wear brand Taneira.
Preparations to reach 10% market share in three years
Tata is planning to increase the market share of ethnic wear brand from 2% to 10% in the next three years. Expanding its ethnic wear range, the company will also offer pashmina stoles, dupattas, unstitched kurtas and lehengas to become the most preferred brand of women. Taneira CEO Ambuj Narayan said that saree will remain the mainstay of our brand. Through the rest of the ethnic wear, we will provide women a new option in value clothing. Currently, Taneira has a range of sarees available up to Rs 3 lakh. Most of the purchase of sarees happens during the wedding and festival season. Therefore, the company has many plans to make these dates memorable.
Will open 15-20 new stores every year
By the financial year 2024-25, the number of Taneira stores will increase to 85. After that, there is a plan to open 15-20 new stores every year. The number of stores is to be increased to 125 by the financial year 2027. At the same time, a target of annual revenue of Rs 1000 crore has been set by this period.
