New Delhi: Bomb threat received on IndiGo flight. The incident is of Sunday. Bomb threat was given through a letter on Chennai bound flight. Immediately after receiving the letter, CISF employees immediately checked the plane. Passengers were also searched. However, nothing suspicious was found.
According to information, there were a total of 169 passengers on the flight, including a minister and a High Court judge. According to a Times of India report, after investigation, the plane was dispatched to Chennai at around 6 o'clock. Meanwhile, airline officials have lodged a case with the Peelamedu police regarding the incident.
Air India's plane kept hovering in the sky for two hours
On October 11, an Air India Express plane was safely landed in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. Actually, due to a fault in the hydraulic system, the plane hovered over the city of Tiruchirappalli for almost two hours. Meanwhile, the distance for emergency landing at the airport was completed.
20 ambulances and about 18 fire engines were deployed on the spot. The plane took off from Tiruchirapalli airport at 5:40 pm on Friday evening. But it had to land at the same airport at around 8 pm. There were a total of 142 passengers on board the plane. This Air India Express plane was going to Sharjah.
Threat was also received in Vistara flight
On October 9, a bomb threat was also received on a Vistara airline flight coming from London to Delhi. A bomb threat was made in a paper found in the toilet. There were about 290 passengers on board the plane. The plane was landed safely at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport and was checked. But no bomb was found. It was written in the note found in the toilet that this flight will be blown up with a bomb.
There was a threat in the Hyderabad flight too
On September 1, IndiGo flight had received a bomb threat. This IndiGo flight was going from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh to Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana. But there was a stir when the bomb threat was received. After this, the plane was landed in Nagpur, Maharashtra and a thorough investigation was done. Nothing suspicious was found in the investigation. In the month of August, Air India flight 657 also received a bomb threat. The plane was hurriedly landed at Thiruvananthapuram airport in Kerala.
