New Delhi. Shashi Tharoor:  Senior Congress leader and MP Shashi Tharoor always remains in the headlines for his English words. Many times Tharoor uses such words which confuse people and they start searching for its meaning on Google.

Recently, during the Lok Sabha elections, Tharoor attacked the BJP and used an English word in his statement which backfired on him. Now he is clarifying the use of this word on social media and saying that it is not my fault.

Actually, Shashi Tharoor has used the word defenestrate, which means to pick up something and throw it out of the window or to remove or throw someone out of his position. During the Lok Sabha elections, Shashi Tharoor attacked the BJP and said that this time the voters should defenestrate the BJP. 

What did Tharoor say in his clarification?

His statement has been published in an English newspaper, which Tharoor has shared on his social media X and written a post. He wrote, 'Honestly, it is not my fault. In the Jalandhar press conference, a journalist asked me my 'favorite big word' regarding the current situation. As some of you know, I usually agree with him.'
