Actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked by a suspected assailant at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai on January 16. The actor has suffered six injuries including a spinal injury. At present, he is out of danger and his condition is improving. Meanwhile, his son Ibrahim Ali Khan has postponed the shooting of his movie Diler due to concern for his father.

Ibrahim canceled the shooting

According to India Today Digital, 'The shooting of Maddock's Diler was going on. It has been stopped after the attack on Saif. Srileela is his heroine in this film. It is being directed by Kunal Deshmukh. Ibrahim wants to stay with his father until he comes home and recovers completely.'

Who all reached the hospital to meet Saif?

Ibrahim and Sara Ali Khan have been visiting Saif at Lilavati Hospital to get updates on Abba's health. Other family members including Kareena Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, Karisma Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor were also spotted outside the hospital.

Recently finished shooting for Jewel Thief

Saif has recently completed the shooting of one of his films. The actor was shooting for Jewel Thief which was to be released on 27 March 2020. Only two days of dubbing work was left. The makers will start promoting the film from mid-March. Apart from this, Saif's film is also going to be released on OTT.

Saif was attacked on some day

The thieves broke into Saif's house around 2:30 am on January 16. The attacker first attacked the actor's house help. When the actor intervened, he attacked Saif and stabbed him with a knife. Saif suffered 2 deep and four small wounds. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital where he underwent surgery. Saif is currently out of danger. He will be discharged from the hospital in two to three days.
