Let us know how Rudraksha originated?
This is how Rudraksha originated
According to the ancient story, there was a demon named Tripurasur. He was very proud of his power. Therefore, he created havoc in the Dev Lok along with the Earth. No deity or weapon was able to defeat him, due to which the deities reached Lord Shiva with their prayers. When the deities reached Mount Kailash, during that time Lord Mahadev was meditating with his eyes closed in yoga posture, when the Lord opened his eyes, some tears fell from his eyes on the earth. Rudraksh tree was born from these tears of Shiva. It is believed that Rudraksh trees grew at the place where Mahadev's tears fell. Therefore, Rudraksh is worshipped by considering it as the form of Lord Shiva's third eye. This is how Rudraksh originated.
