Himachal Pradesh News: India will celebrate its 76th Republic Day on 26 January this year. In such a situation, preparations for Republic Day have started in Himachal Pradesh. This time in Himachal, a state level program will be held in Shimla on the occasion of Republic Day. This program will be presided over by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla. The parade contingents and tableaux displayed in this ceremony will be informative. For this, preparations have also been intensified by the district administration.

On the occasion of the state-level Republic Day celebrations in the year 2024, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur were present as special guests. The picture of both the leaders sitting together in the function also went viral. District Shimla Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap said that 27 teams will parade on the occasion of the state-level celebration of Republic Day on January 26.

These contingents will take part
in the parade of the Republic Day celebrations: J&K Rifles, ITBP, SSB, male and female police contingents, Army Pipe Band, Traffic Police, Police Band, Home Guards, Fire Service, Postal Service, Home Guard Band, Ex-Servicemen contingent, NCC, NSS, Bharat Scouts and Guides, Disaster Management Group, and Police Dog Squad. The Additional District Magistrate and ASP will be the nodal officers for the parade. All the contingents will rehearse for the parade from January 22 to January 24. After this, there will be a full dress rehearsal on January 24. 

These tableaux will be included: 
Tableaux of 25 departments will be seen in the state level Republic Day celebrations. Tableaux of 22 J&K Rifles, District Disaster Management Authority, Him Energy, State Electricity Board, Tourism Department, Agriculture Department, Women and Child Development Department, Animal Health Department, Industries Department, DRDA, Education Department, Municipal Corporation Shimla, Horticulture Department, State Forensic Services, Forest Department, Language Art and Culture Department, Food Supply Department, Transport Department and Health and Family Welfare Department will be included in this celebration. 

Apart from this, children from Shimla district who went on a tour to other states under the Chief Minister Sukh Ashray Yojana, Rohru's Spell Valley, loan to students at one percent interest, role of DNA mapping in the Samej tragedy, winter carnival, CA store, purchase of maize, milk processing plant, making leaf plates and serving of langar will also be seen in the tableaux.
