Haryana News: Senior Haryana Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala has fiercely targeted the Nayab Singh Saini government of the state. He has accused the government of deceiving the youth. Surjewala has also written a letter to the Chief Secretary.
Randeep Singh Surjewala said, "The Naib Saini government of Haryana has cheated the youth employed through HKRN. They had said that they will give them permanent jobs. But now they have cheated and deceived these youth. They have started preparations to remove them. They have issued an order that if approval is not received, then their contract will not be renewed after March 31, 2025."
In a letter written to the chief secretary
, he said, "There are two letters from the chief secretary. The jobs of the youth employed with HKRN after August 15, 2019, can be terminated. The youth working for the longest time will be terminated first. 252 teachers were terminated. Then the students of the canal department were terminated. After that, students of the forest department were terminated. This order is illegal. It is written in the law that the one with the least number of jobs can be terminated. The one who was employed first cannot be terminated."
On the other hand, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini flagged off Cyclothon 2.0 on Saturday (5 April) as part of the drug de-addiction campaign. He said that the youth of Haryana have resolved to make the state drug-free. CM Saini said, "PM Modi has spoken against drugs and said that drug addiction poses a threat to the family and society, so to end this threat forever, it is important that we all unite and move forward in this direction."
'Drugs have become a fashion'
He further said that today drugs have become a fashion. Our youth start taking drugs under the influence of their friends. Drug abuse is not only harmful for health but also for the society. Many of our generations are getting ruined due to drugs. People do not hesitate to commit crimes due to drugs, so we all have to unite against drugs.
