Prayagraj News: Police has arrested two accused in the case of demanding extortion of one crore rupees and threatening to kill a famous coaching operator in Prayagraj. Police has arrested the accused Rahul Singh Parihar and Badal Singh involved in this incident. Both have been arrested after being identified in CCTV. Police is also searching for other accused. 

The joint team of police and SOG took action in this case and arrested both the accused from Tagore Town Hashimpur Tiraha. The arrested accused Rahul Singh Parihar is a resident of Lalapur Prayagraj and Badal Singh is a resident of Jaunpur district. Police is also searching for other named and unknown accused on the basis of CCTV footage. 

 

This case of extortion of one crore from a coaching operator


is from Georgetown police station area where recently Exampur Coaching operator Vivek Kumar had lodged a complaint regarding openly threatening him and demanding extortion of one crore rupees. On the complaint of the coaching operator, the police have registered a case against four named and fifteen to twenty unknown people. The CCTV footage of this incident also went viral. 

 

Coaching director Vivek Kumar alleges that for the past few days some people have been coming to his institute and demanding extortion money of lakhs of rupees and threatening to kill him. Earlier also, extortion money of Rs. 50 lakhs was demanded. Which was later increased to one crore. According to the FIR, on September 10, around 6:15 pm, twenty people reached the coaching institute and threatened to kill Vivek Kumar if he did not pay the money within a week. 

A youth tried to attack them with a stick and also threatened to burn down the institute by pouring petrol on it. Police have registered a case under sections 191(2), 131, 308 (4), 352 and 351 (3) of the IPC.
