"Under this contract, the Chandigarh-based company has received orders to supply SI-certified galvanized mild steel (GMS) tubes for 95% of the sizes. The total order is about 35,473 metric tonnes," the company said in an exchange filing. "This achievement indicates JTL's commitment to support important basic infrastructure projects and contribute to the country's development," the company added. Jal Jeevan Mission is a scheme that aims to provide safe and adequate drinking water through individual household tap connections to all households in rural India by 2024.
