After the market closed, the government company has announced the results of the second quarter of the financial year. Giving information in the exchange filing, the company said that the company's profits and earnings have increased.

 

 

According to the exchange filing, the company's profit has increased from Rs 3781 crore to Rs 3793 crore on an annual basis. Talking about the company's earnings, there has been an increase in it. The company's earnings have increased from Rs 11267 crore to Rs 11277 crore.

 

 

Talking about the company's EBITDA, it has declined. The company's EBITDA has come down from Rs 9,908 crore to Rs 9701 crore. The EBITDA margin has come down from 87.9% to 86% on an annual basis.

 

 

Despite the decline in margins, the company has announced an interim dividend of Rs 4.50 per share for investors. According to the exchange filing, "The first interim dividend will be paid on Wednesday, December 04, 2024. In addition, the record date for payment of dividend will be Thursday, November 14, 2024."

 

 

The company has so far announced dividends for investors 40 times. Before the announcement in the second quarter, the company had announced dividends of Rs 2.75 per share on 16 August 2024, Rs 4.50 per share on 15 February 2024 and Rs 4 per share on 16 November 2023.

 

On 12 September 2023, the company also announced bonus shares for investors. The company had announced to give 3 bonus shares free in exchange for one share. Earlier in 2021 also, the company had announced bonus shares in the same ratio.
