The company is now presenting films on screen and for free i.e. without advertisements. However, viewers will get this facility only in theaters with premium screens. Let us tell you that the weak box office collection of films has affected the theater business. Big Bollywood films have also performed poorly in the last three months. Despite there being big stars in the films, the audience is not coming.
What is the plan?
Renaud Pallière, Head of The Luxury Collection and Innovation, PVR Inox Limited, said that during the interval, viewers will not be able to watch advertisements on the premium screens. However, viewers will be able to watch the trailers of upcoming films. The company has also planned to reduce screen time by not running advertisements during movie shows. Renaud Pallier said that the time left in each show would allow us to add another show during the day. This will bring additional viewers.

Palliar had said that there would be a loss in revenue due to not airing advertisements but adding other shows would increase the number of viewers, which would be compensated. Let us tell you that in the December quarter, the company has registered an annual increase of 23 percent in advertising revenue. With this, the income has reached Rs 140.5 crore. However, analysts estimate a 15 percent decline in advertising revenue in the March quarter of FY24.
