Nigeria : 22 students died tragically when a school building collapsed in the African country of Nigeria. This accident happened on Friday morning in north-central Nigeria when the children were attending class. After the accident, the rescue team had to work hard to rescue more than 100 people trapped in the rubble.
When this incident happened, the students had just reached Saints Academy College and the school building collapsed. The age of the students who died is said to be less than 15 years.
The injured were admitted to the hospital
Giving information about the incident, the police said that a total of 154 students were trapped in the debris after the building collapsed, but 132 of them were rescued. The injured have been admitted to the hospital.

Nigeria's National Emergency Management Agency deployed rescue and health workers as well as security forces to the scene immediately after the incident. The Nigerian government instructed hospitals to start treatment without any documentation or payment to ensure quick medical care.
