IIT Kanpur Rape Case: A student studying in IIT Kanpur had filed a rape case against Mohsin Khan, an ACP rank officer posted in Kanpur Police Commissionerate. Accused Mohsin Khan got an arrest stay during the hearing in the High Court, due to which the police will not be able to arrest the accused now. The accused's lawyer accused the victim that she is already married and she went to Mohsin Khan's house and tried to kill his child and also quarreled with his wife. Hurt by this claim, the student has expressed her pain to her ex and pleaded for justice.

The victim wrote on the X handle, I am the complainant in a sexual harassment case registered under FIR number 0570 at Kalyanpur Police Station, Uttar Pradesh. As a victim in this sensitive case involving PPS officer Mohammad Mohsin Khan, I am extremely worried about the serious consequences that are happening to me. Despite being a victim of such a heinous crime, I am now facing defamation by Mohsin Khan and his lawyer Gaurav Dixit. Although I understand that the accused has the right to defend himself, the tactics used are seriously worrying.

The victim said she was in danger from the accused.
The victim further wrote that, "According to the news on the news channel, the ACP's lawyer has openly accused me of attempting to murder an innocent child. These false stories have terrified me. The victim says that Mohsin Khan, whose conduct has been exposed but has not yet been suspended or arrested, may file false charges against me. I am particularly vulnerable because these fabricated cases can have devastating consequences on my career and future.

The victim wrote, I sincerely and respectfully appeal to you and the Uttar Pradesh Police to ensure that no false case is filed against me by Mohsin Khan or his associates. Even if justice may not be served for the original complaint, I request you to support me in protecting me from further harassment. I have already sacrificed my dignity and reputation in search of justice.

I cannot sacrifice my career and future. If this harassment continues unabated, I will have no choice but to take a drastic step like suicide. Please intervene to maintain the integrity of justice and ensure my safety and rights as a citizen. At present, the victim's side has given a clear indication of what is going on in the IIT rape case through the post made on X.
