Naxalite Sudhakar, carrying a bounty of 25 lakhs, was killed in Bijapur encounter, he was the mastermind of these major crimes:

Bijapur Encounter: On Tuesday (March 25, 2025), security forces in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, killed 25 lakh bounty Maoist Sudhir alias Sudhakar alias Murali and recovered INSAS rifle, 303 rifle and other weapons including explosives of Naxalites from the spot, however, the other 2 Naxalites killed in the encounter have not been identified yet.

Dantewada SP Gaurav Rai said that a team of Dantewada DRG and Bastar Fighters had gone out on an anti-Naxal operation based on information about the presence of Naxal cadres in the border areas of Girsapara Nelgoda, Bodga and Ikeli of Dantewada and Bijapur region. During the operation, there was continuous firing between Naxalites and security forces. After the encounter stopped, the bodies of 3 male Naxalites were recovered from the spot during the search operation. Initially, one of the killed Naxalites has been identified as DKSZCM (Dandakarnya Special Zonal Committee Member) Sudhir alias Sudhakar alias Murali. The Naxalite with a reward of 25 lakhs was a resident of Warangal district Telangana.

He was involved in these big incidents

Giving information about the Naxalites killed in the encounter, Bastar IG Sundarraj.P said that the DRG of Dantewada and the Bastar Fighter soldiers have achieved a great success. The Naxalite commander who was killed in this encounter was a member of the Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee of the Maoist organization, who was involved in the Maoist organization for the last four decades, apart from the Naxalite attack in Jheeram Valley on 25 May 2013, he has been involved in major Naxalite incidents in Tahakwada, Kasalpaad and also in Bijapur, Sukma.

The IG said that for the last 2 years, the security forces have been carrying out aggressive operations, in which many big Maoist leaders are also being killed. Along with two politburo members, 6 Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee members have been killed by the soldiers in the last two years, while the operation is continuing. He said that in the encounter on Tuesday, many Naxalites were shot and managed to escape in an injured state, currently the team of soldiers has returned from the encounter site.
