The statement made by famous 70s actress Zeenat Aman on live-in relationships is still in discussion. Zeenat Aman, who is active on social media, often talks openly with her fans. The actress shares stories of the old days through her posts. She also advises the young generation regarding relationships. Recently, Zeenat had shared a post on Instagram, in which she had said that any couple should be in a live-in relationship before deciding on marriage. This gives you a chance to know and understand the other person.

This post of Zeenat Aman went viral and stars started commenting on it. Actresses Mumtaz and Saira Banu had opposed the advice of Zeenat Aman. Now actor Mukesh Khanna, who was seen in hit shows like 'Mahabharat' and 'Shaktiman', has also given his reaction to this. Mukesh has expressed objection to Zeenat's advice.

Mukesh Khanna's big statement

While talking to Dainik Jagran, Mukesh Khanna said, 'In our culture and history, something like a live-in relationship has never been recognized. This has come from Western civilization. Whatever Zeenat Aman is talking about, she has lived her life according to Western civilization since day one.

He further said, 'What Zeenat is saying on live-in relationship is that through this the boy and girl will recognize each other. Hey sir, it is not a matter of recognizing each other. This is not acceptable in Indian culture. Just imagine, if a boy and a girl live with each other like husband and wife before marriage and they do not get along well, then imagine what will happen to both of them. Those who are saying such things should speak thoughtfully.

Mumtaz and Saira also protested

Before Mukesh Khanna, actress Mumtaz had protested against Zeenat Aman's statement about a live-in relationship. In a conversation with Zoom, Mumtaz had said, 'Zeenat should be careful about what advice she is giving. She has suddenly gained popularity on social media, I understand her enthusiasm to look like a cool aunty. But it is not right to increase your followers by giving advice contrary to our moral thinking. Take Zeenat for example...she knew Mazhar Khan many years before marriage. Their marriage was no less than hell. So they should not advise on relationships.

Senior actress Saira Banu has also expressed disagreement with what Zeenat Aman said. While talking to Hindustan Times, she had said, 'I do not read much and I did not follow what they (Zeenat and Mumtaz) were saying. But we are very old-fashioned people. Our trend is from 40-50 years ago. I can never agree with this. I will never promote live-in relationships. For me, this is something that I cannot even think about or accept.

Zeenat had said this

Zeenat Aman had also replied to Mumtaz's statement. While talking to Hindustan Times, he had said, 'Everyone has his own opinion. I have never commented on the personal lives of others or humiliated any of my fellow actors. And I still won't do it.
