Actually, recently there was a dispute over the nomination of delegates in the Urban Cooperative Bank elections. In which the husband of the former president of the bank, Awadhesh Singh, the president of the District Advocates Association, beat up the Sadar MLA of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Yogesh Verma. On the news of the assault on the MLA, IG Lucknow Prashant Kumar reached Lakhipur and said that action would be taken in this matter after investigation. At the same time, in the case of assault on the MLA, UP BJP took major action and issued notice to BJP leader Pushpa Singh and two others and sought answers from them.

In the same matter, former Chairperson of the bank Pushpa Singh accused BJP MLA Yogesh Verma of misbehavior and said that, Yogesh Verma pushed me and snatched the form from my hand.
