Many accused in this case are absconding and some are behind the bars of the jail. Now on the instructions of Kanpur Police Commissioner Akhil Kumar, the first case has been registered in the Inter Range Gang against 15 named people in the entire case. The main leader of this gang is said to be Avnish Dixit, along with him many other people are also involved in it.

Kanpur Police Commissionerate is investigating other possible members of the gang in the entire case. The purpose of registering this gang in the IR range is to ensure strict action by keeping a close watch on the activities of criminals.

Apart from this, the gang members include Harendra Kumar Masih, Rahul Verma, Vincent Vikram alias Vicky Charles, Sandeep Shukla alias Bauwan Shukla, Kamla Ariel, Abhishek Ariel, Nouris Ariel, Arpan Ariel, Ali Abbas, Jitesh Jha, Jitendra Shukla, Vivek Pandey, Manoj Yadav, Mohd Wasim Khan and Akhlaq Ahmed. Police is hopeful that after investigation, names of other members may also come to light in the entire case.
