Kanpur News: Now crimes are being committed on the lines of films. People are fulfilling their evil intentions by connecting the stories of films with reality. One such incident had shocked the Kanpur police administration. The woman whose disappearance and kidnapping were being linked from one city to another. She died on the same day. The day she left home and reached the gym. The trainer who gave training in the gym murdered the businessman's wife Ekta and buried the body in the land of the Officers Campus connected to the District Magistrate's residence.

Ekta, the wife of a Kanpur businessman, took admission in a gym centre located just a short distance from her house to keep herself fit. During this time, she came in contact with gym trainer Vipul Soni. While giving training, Ekta and Vipul Soni started getting closer. On 24 June 2024, when Ekta reached the gym from her home, Vipul Soni and her had an argument about something in the car outside the gym.

Vipul Soni told the
police that he had informed Ekta about his marriage being fixed, on which there was an argument between Ekta and Vipul Soni. Then Vipul Soni punched Ekta in the neck due to which Ekta became unconscious. Vipul Soni thought that Ekta was completely dead and was trying to dispose of her body. To dispose of the body, he buried Ekta's body in the campus land near the DM bungalow in the middle of the city. Police has recovered the skeleton of Ekta Gupta on the information given by gym trainer Vipul Soni. Police officials have announced a reward of one lakh rupees to the team that discloses the matter.

This murder has raised many questions like, how did the car in which the gym trainer had brought the body to the DM residence campus enter through the gate? When was the 8 feet deep pit dug in the campus where the body was buried? When the pit was being dug, the sound of the shovel was not heard by any security personnel posted at the gate of the DM residence nor by any guard. On the other side of the road just 15 feet from the crime scene is the judge's residence. There too, the security officer is on duty at the gate. Why did he not see anything? Police theory is raising many questions whose answers are yet to be found.
