On the complaint of the family members, the police reached the spot and with great difficulty freed the victim son-in-law from hostage. Actually Yasir Arafat, a resident of Sohncheda village of Saharanpur district, was married to a girl named Shahzadi in Khudda village located in Chhapar police station area of ​​Muzaffarnagar district.

It is being told that Yasir Arafat works as a labourer in Saudi Arabia. He returned to his village from Saudi on Wednesday morning. After which he reached his in-laws' village Khudda to pick up his wife Shahzadi who had gone to her parents' house. Where son-in-law Yasir was held hostage by his in-laws wearing a garland of shoes and tied with chains and beaten up badly. During this, the in-laws made a video of the victim son-in-law Yasir Arafat wearing a garland of shoes and made it viral on social media.

When Yasir's family got the video, they immediately reached Chhapar police station. After which, on the complaint, the police reached Khudda village and with great difficulty freed Yasir Arafat. If the senior officials are to be believed, Yasir Arafat's in-laws who held him captive say that their daughter was beaten and tortured in her in-laws' house. Due to which they committed this incident. In this case, the police has now registered a case on the complaint of the family of the victim youth Yasir Arafat and is engaged in further action.

about this where the victim Yasir Arafat's brother Gulfam said that, my name is Gulfam, village Syonkheda, police station Nagal. My brother came from Saudi in the morning. He got married in Khudda village, he had gone to bring his wife. We got a video of him in which he was being beaten with chains, belt on his feet, and a necklace of shoes around his neck. We got worried after finding out. Being worried, we reached Chhapar police station and informed the police.

CO Sadar Raju Kumar Sao said that today at 8:00 pm, Chhapar police station received information that a person has been held hostage at some place in Chhapar. On this information, Chhapar police station immediately became active and within an hour the hostage youth was recovered safely from village Khudda. During interrogation, it was found that the name of this person is Yashir Aafat who is a resident of village Shyonkheda Nagal district Saharanpur.

He was married in village Khudda and he had returned from Saudi Arabia today only. He had come to take his wife to her in-laws' village Khudda. His wife's brothers have alleged that his sister's in-laws used to beat him. The hostage was probably held hostage so that his sister could be raped.
