Holi Delhi Metro Timing: The timing of the Delhi Metro has been changed to Monday, 25th March, the day of Holi. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has given information about this on its social media handle.

What is the new timing?

DMRC said that Delhi Metro services will remain operational on the occasion of Holi i.e. on March 25. However, metro services will remain suspended till 2:30 pm on Monday and will be available only after that.

 

METRO TRAIN SERVICES TO START AT 2:30 PM ON HOLI

On the day of the 'Holi festival, i.e. 25th March, 2024 (Monday), Metro services will NOT be available till 2:30 PM on all Lines of the Delhi Metro including Rapid Metro/Airport Express Line.

ITO and Lok Kalyan Marg metro stations opened

ITO and Lok Kalyan Marg metro stations, which were closed on Friday due to security reasons after the arrest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, opened at around 7:45 am on Saturday. With this, passenger movement could start from both the stations.

The passengers have got relief. On Friday, the ITO metro station remained closed for the whole day from 8 am. Apart from this, Lok Kalyan Marg metro station was also closed after around 2:45 pm. Passenger traffic was stopped at both the stations. (Rabu)

Due to Holi, buses will remain closed till 2 pm on March 25.

On Holi (Dulhandi i.e. color day) the bus service of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) will remain suspended till 2 pm on March 25. After this, given the shortage of passengers in the evening shift, the total active fleet of CNG and Electric depot buses will be suspended. 25 percent of the buses will hit the roads.

DTC officials said that the festival of Holi (Holika Dahan) will be celebrated on March 24, 2024, since this day is a Sunday, no change has been made in the outstanding of CNG and electric buses.
