Hartalika Teej Fast Story
According to the mythological tale, Maa Sati was reborn as Maa Parvati in the family of Himalaya Raj . Himalaya Raj had decided to get Maa Parvati married to Lord Vishnu, the saviour of the world. But due to the influence of her previous birth, Maa Parvati had already accepted Mahadev as her husband in her mind. But after the death of Mata Sati, Lord Shiva was absorbed in penance, due to which he became an ascetic.
Abduction and penance of Mother Parvati
Mother Parvati's friends kidnapped her. Because a situation of confusion had arisen due to the father's decision, after which Mother Parvati was hidden in the caves of the Himalayas. After this, Mother Parvati did a tough penance to get Lord Shiva as her husband. Seeing her penance, Mahadev was pleased and accepted Mother Parvati as his wife.
