IRCON International Limited on Monday (March 17) said that the company in a joint venture with Badri Rai & Company (BRC) has bagged an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract worth Rs 1,096.17 crore from the Directorate of Urban Affairs, Government of Meghalaya. The project involves construction of a new secretariat complex in New Shillong City, including the infrastructure of the complex. IRCON has a 26 per cent stake in the joint venture, worth Rs 285 crore, while BRC holds the remaining 74 per cent. The timeline for completion of the contract is 36 months.

In the quarter ended December 2024, IRCON International reported a profit of Rs 86 crore, down 65 per cent from Rs 244 crore in the same quarter a year ago. The company reported a 10 per cent decline in revenue to Rs 2,612.86 crore in the third quarter of FY 2024-25 as against Rs 2,929.54 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal. Stock performance On Monday, the company's stock closed at Rs 137.99, down 1.75 per cent. The company's stock has seen a decline of 36.29 per cent in the last one year.
