Meerut Crime News: Aftab, a resident of Gola Kuan in Kotwali police station area of Meerut, had gone to attend a wedding ceremony in Noor Nagar with his wife Isha Parveen. After the wedding, they were returning home in an e-rickshaw. The wife kept jewellery worth five lakhs in her big purse and left the purse in the e-rickshaw. When they reached home, they remembered that the purse was left in the e-rickshaw. The entire family was shocked. The e-rickshaw driver was searched here and there but he could not be found. The entire family was worried because the purse contained gold jewellery worth five lakhs.
Victim Aftab complained about this matter in the city police station. He told the entire matter to SO Kotwali Yogendra Kumar. SO Kotwali Yogendra Kumar is considered an expert in surveillance. He immediately formed two teams for this, but this task was not so easy, because there are thousands of e-rickshaws in Meerut and which was that e-rickshaw in which the purse of jewellery was left. This task was like finding a needle in a haystack. For this, the police started searching CCTVs but were not getting any success. But the e-rickshaw driver was seen in one camera and after that the police searched 100 CCTVs and the matter was settled.
The e-rickshaw driver had kept the bag safely.
Meerut's city police station reached Summer Garden while scanning the CCTV. When the e-rickshaw driver's photo was shown, people told his name as Ahmed Ali. After this the police directly reached Ahmed Ali's house. The e-rickshaw driver got nervous after seeing the police. Immediately said Sir, I have the purse with me, it is kept safely, I have not taken out a single piece of jewellery and the purse is kept as it was when I brought it. After this the police reached the police station with the e-rickshaw driver and the purse.
Slogans of Meerut Police Zindabad and Thanks Meerut Police were raised
. SO Kotwali Yogendra Kumar immediately informed the family. Aftab reached the city police station with his wife Isha Parveen and several relatives. The woman started crying after seeing the purse. When she opened the purse, it contained all the jewellery. Immediately people started raising slogans of Meerut Police Zindabad. People looked very happy while saying Thanks Police. Since all the jewellery was present in the purse, Aftab and his family refused to take any action against e-rickshaw driver Ahmed Ali. The police handed over the purse to them and the entire family returned happily.
Police found the purse within 24 hours;
it is said that if the police gets on its guard, they solve any incident, no matter how big it is. It did not take even 24 hours for the city Kotwali police to find the purse full of jewellery worth Rs 5 lakh. SO City Kotwali Meerut Yogendra Kumar said that after the family's complaint two teams were immediately sent and they got success. All the jewellery was found safe in the bag and the family refused any action. The purse containing jewellery has been handed over to the family.
