Former Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh passed away on Thursday night at the age of 92. He was admitted to the hospital on Thursday, 26 December. After his death, there is a wave of mourning from politics to the streets. Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) leader and MP from Nagina in Uttar Pradesh Chandrashekhar Azad paid tribute to Manmohan Singh on his demise.
Nagina MP wrote on social media site X- The death of renowned economist and former Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh ji, who rescued India from the economic crisis in 1991, is a very sad and irreparable loss for the country. His visionary leadership and simple personality showed the country a new path towards economic progress.
The MP wrote- His contribution will always be remembered in the history of India. I offer my humble tribute to him. My condolences are with his family and supporters, may nature give them the strength to bear this immense sorrow.
