What's next? Morgan Stanley India MD Ridham Desai told CNBC Awaaz that earnings growth in the December quarter will be weak, income growth will be in mid-single digits.
We believe that the earnings cycle is in the right direction and there is a possibility of better performance than general estimates. Morgan Stanley has bet on private banks, selected consumer and industrial stocks and IT services stocks.
Talking to CNBC-Awaaz, Capitalmind founder & CEO Deepak Shenoy said that FII's impact is possible after Trump's policies become clear.
However, DII's buying after FII's selling is good for the market. There is also pressure on the dollar because RBI has changed its stance. Earlier RBI used to say that we will keep it stable but now it has moved away from stability.
