When will Diwali be celebrated in Kashi?

 

On October 15, Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust Council, Shri Kashi Vidvat Parishad, Panchangkars, Dharmashastra scholars and Astrologers of Banaras held a deep brainstorming and discussion in the Astrology Department of the Faculty of Sanskrit Dharma Vidya Dharma Vigyan of BHU regarding the date of Diwali. After this, the astrologers decided to celebrate Diwali on October 31 (Diwali 2024 Shubh Muhrat). Giving more information about this, Ramchandra Pandey said that the Amavasya date of Kartik month will start before sunset on October 31 and will end one Ghati after sunset on November 01. For this, Diwali will be celebrated on October 31. There is no dilemma for this in the classical method. This Shastra rule applies to those places where Amavasya will end one Ghati after sunset on November 01.  

 

When will it be celebrated in Ujjain?

Diwali (Diwali 2024 Date) will also be celebrated on 31st October in Baba's city Ujjain. Regarding this, Pandit Mahesh Pujari of Mahakal Temple says that Bhasma Aarti is performed at four in the morning on the Chaturdashi of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month. Deepawali is celebrated at this time. For this, Diwali will be celebrated on 31st October in Mahakal Temple. At the same time, Deepotsav will be celebrated during Pradosh Kaal in the evening on 31st October at Sandipani Ashram, the place of education of Krishna ji.

 

Pt. Anand Shankar Vyas, Astrologer says that Diwali is a festival celebrated during Pradosh Kaal and midnight. This time on 31st October, Amavasya will be witnessed during Pradosh Kaal and midnight. Therefore, it will be best to celebrate Diwali on 31st October itself.

 

Giving more information about this, Pt. Amar Dabbawala, Astrologer said that there are two methods prevalent in Indian astrology, the first is Grah Laghaviy and the second is Chitra Ketaki method. Calculation of festivals is considered to be best according to Grah Laghaviy method. From this point of view, celebrating Diwali on 31st October is absolutely appropriate.

When will Diwali be celebrated in Indore?

 

Clearing the confusion about the date of Diwali, astrologer Pandit Girish Vyas said that it is best to celebrate Diwali on October 31 this year. According to the local Panchang calculation, the Amavasya date of Kartik month will start on October 31 at 03:52 pm and will end on November 01 at 5:13 pm.

 

Dr. Mohan Gupta, President of Ujjaini Vidvat Parishad, said that the difference is seen due to the increase or decrease of one or two Ghati (24 minutes) in the date. Due to this, there is a situation of difference in the date of celebrating the festival. This difference of opinion is due to the difference in the place and the time of rising and setting of the Sun God and the difference in the scriptures. Under the Graha Laghavi method, Diwali will be celebrated on October 31.

When will it be celebrated in Haridwar?

 

Diwali will be celebrated on 1st November in the holy city of Haridwar. For this, discussions were held among the astrologers in the Uttarakhand Jyotish Parishad office. In this meeting, it was decided to celebrate Diwali on 1st November. Regarding this, Acharya Ramesh Semwal said that after the calculation of Nirnaya Sindhu, Dharma Sindhu and Muhurta Chintamani, it was decided that Diwali will be celebrated on 1st November in Haridwar. On the date of Diwali, the astrologers have unanimously agreed in favor of 1st November.
