Delhi Air Pollution: Delhi's pollution level has now reached from very poor to severe category. For the fifth consecutive day in Delhi, on Friday, the pollution level reached the severe category in more than a dozen areas of the national capital at around 6 am. The highest AQI was recorded in ITI Jahangirpuri and Mundka. The AQI at both places was 467 and 445 respectively.
Delhiites had to face 'poor' air quality for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday. On Thursday, the indicators were recorded in the 'red zone' at 13 monitoring stations in the national capital.
The situation is worst in Jahangirpuri
The pollution level in Delhi at 6 am on Friday reached frightening levels. 467 was recorded in ITI Jahangirpuri, 445 in Mundka, 386 in DIT, 372 in New Sarup Nagar, 362 in Prashant Vihar, 356 in IP Extension, 353 in IHBAS, 353 in Anand Vihar, 352 in Pooth Khurd, 327 in Bhalswa Landfill, 327 in Kohat Enclave, 325 in Rohini Sector 7, 314 in Narela, 305 in Mustafabad, 305 in Rohini Sector 15, 302 in Rohini Sector 30.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), on Thursday, 13 (air quality) monitoring stations including Ashok Vihar, Dwarka Sector 8, Patparganj, Punjabi Bagh, Rohini, Bawana, Burari, Jahangirpuri, Mundka, Narela, Okhla Phase 2, Shadipur and Vivek Vihar recorded 'readings' above 300.
The average air quality in Delhi remained in the 'poor' category for the fourth consecutive day and the 24-hour average reading was recorded at 285 at 4 pm.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Delhi will be clear from October 18 to 23. On Friday, the maximum temperature is expected to be 35 and the minimum temperature is expected to be 18.
