A surprising news has come out from Pune, Maharashtra. Here in Pimpri Chinchwad, condoms, gutkha, and stones have allegedly been found in samosas supplied to a major auto company. After this, a case has been registered against five people.
Police said that those against whom the case has been registered also include two employees of the subcontracting firm, who were asked to supply samosas. The remaining three accused were also partners of a similar firm, who were earlier removed on charges of adulteration.
The police officer said that the responsibility for supplying food items in the canteen of the automobile firm was of Catalyst Service Solution Private Limited. Catalyst Service had given the contract to supply samosas to the auto firm to a company named Manohar Enterprises. He said that on Saturday some employees of the auto firm had complained about finding condoms, gutkha, and stones in samosas.
Chikhli police station officer said that during the interrogation of the employees of Manohar Enterprises, it was revealed that two employees named Firoz Shaikh and Vicky Shaikh had allegedly filled samosas with condoms, gutkha, and stones.
In this matter, the police have registered a case under section 328 and section 120B of the IPC. Both the accused Firoz and Vicky are employees of SRA Enterprises. He told during interrogation that the three partners of SRA Enterprises had asked him to adulterate the samosas supplied by Manohar Enterprises. Earlier the contract for food supply in the canteen of the auto firm was with SRA Enterprises only. But his contract was terminated because bandages were found in the breakfast he was given. This was the reason that this act was done deliberately to defame Catalyst Service.
Police said that the partners of SRA Enterprises have been identified as Rahim Shaikh, Azhar Shaikh, and Mazhar Shaikh. These three wanted to tarnish the image of Manohar Enterprises. At present one accused has been arrested in this case and further investigation is going on.
