Char Dham Yatra 2024: This year a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the devotees regarding Char Dham Yatra. It is expected that this year the record of devotees visiting Chardham Yatra may be broken compared to last year. Within just seven days of registration, 13 lakh devotees have registered for Chardham Yatra. At the same time, a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the devotees for conducting special puja in Badrinath-Kedarnath Dham. In a week, 6,981 devotees have made online puja bookings in both the Dhams.
4,735 devotees have made online bookings for special puja at Badrinath Dham. At the same time, 2,246 devotees have made bookings for worship for Kedarnath Dham. From this, the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) has received an income of Rs 1.20 crore. It is noteworthy that BKTC had started online books on April 15 for a special puja at Badri-Kedar Dham during the Hardham Yatra. Devotees can make online bookings for special puja in both these Dhams through the KTC website https://badrinath-kedarnath.gov.in. There is a fixed fee for this also.
Badrinath Dham has received an amount of Rs 82.58 lakh and Kedarnath Dham has received Rs 37.44 lakh from booking for worship by devotees. Last year, 19,700 people had booked puja in Badrinath Dham, due to which the temple committee earned an income of Rs 1.55 crore. But this time an amount of Rs 1.20 crore has been received through online puja booking in seven days. From this , it can be estimated that this year more devotees can make online bookings for puja than last year and the temple committee can get more income. If you do Mahabhishek puja then you will have to pay a fee of Rs 4800 for it. At the same time, for special puja, you will have to pay a fee of Rs 12000. Devotees will have to pay a fee of Rs 51,000 for reciting Shrimad Bhagwat.
