Apart from three ministers on each seat, one official from the organization has been deployed.

By-elections are to be held on these seats

By-elections are to be held in Kanpur's Sisamau seat, apart from Katehari, Milkipur, Karhal, Phulpur, Majhawan, Ghaziabad, Meerapur, Kundarki and Khair assembly seats that fell vacant after nine MLAs became MPs in the Lok Sabha election.

The Sisamau seat has fallen vacant after SP MLA Irfan Solanki was sentenced to seven years in prison. Karhal, Kundarki, Katehari, Milkipur and Sisamau seats have been occupied by SP, while Phulpur, Khair and Ghaziabad seats have been occupied by BJP. The Meerapur seat has been occupied by NDA's ally RLD and the Majhawan seat has been occupied by Nishad Party.

CM Yogi took command in his hands

After the poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections, the by-elections to be held for the assembly seats are very important for the BJP. This is the reason why the Chief Minister has taken the command of the by-elections in his own hands.
