In the second trading session of the week, the Indian stock market has started functioning on the green mark. On Tuesday, Nifty opened at 24,225.80 with a gain of 84.50 points i.e. 0.35%. Nifty Bank opened at 52,053.80 with a gain of 177.05 points i.e. 0.34%. At the same time, Sensex opened at 79644.95 with a gain of 148.80 points i.e. 0.19%.

During early trading, ONGC, Hindalco Industries, Trent, BPCL and HCL Technologies topped the list of Nifty's fastest-growing stocks. These stocks saw a rise of 1-2%.


At the same time, Britannia Industries, Asian Paints, Dr Reddy's Labs, Cipla and HUL were at the top of the Nifty's weak stocks list. These stocks witnessed a decline of one-fourth to three-quarter percent.
