Patna Students Union Election: On Tuesday, two groups of students clashed outside Patna Women's College over the Patna University Students Union election campaign. During this, firing took place. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation. The police is trying to identify the people who fired the shots and beat up the people on the basis of CCTV footage. A young man is reported to have been injured in this incident.

The incident is from Kotwali police station area. After the firing incident, there was a stampede on the spot. This incident happened due to the fight for supremacy during Patna University student union elections. SDPO 2 Dinesh Pandey said that the police had reached the spot but by then all the youths had fled. There was a fight between two groups of students. After that, one round of firing is being reported. CCTV footage is being scanned. No one has been injured in the firing. CCTV footage is being examined. Police is investigating the entire matter.
